New Beginnings

This journey has been absolutely trying and there have been a lot of tears of frustration, however, they make this outcome that much more worthwhile. I accepted an opportunity to become a Brand Ambassador for Metropolitan Fashion Week! I have been given permission to be on board as a blogger for the event as well, so I will be vlogging and blogging coverage of the event! I am absolutely grateful for this opportunity as it may open up more doors into my career. Seven months in Los Angeles, with a rocky start, I am baffled that in such a short time, things are starting to come together the way that I have only ever imagined them to.

Another step in the right direction, I took a full time management position with ANGL clothing, a Los Angeles-based clothing brand. I haven't worked retail, full-time since I left Pennsylvania, so I am super excited to start this journey.
I am also building a YouTube platform where I am going to document my fashion styling project as well as to new beginnings and opportunities on this road ahead. Subscribe to my blog and walk with me on my journey to an Eco-friendly lifestyle, my favorite fashion and beauty finds, and everything that comes to my mind that I feel like someone else may learn from or relate to. Walk with me on this journey from a small town girl chasing a large-city dream. All you have to do is hit the subscribe button and it will send you an email every time I blog! Super easy, right? Thanks for the support!

2017 Metropolitan Fashion Week Closing Gala and Awards Show

Living in Los Angeles has presented me with endless opportunities within the fashion industry that have allowed me to explore my talents and apply my skill to many different areas. From assisting celebrity stylists with wardrobe pulls to fashion and event PR, I believe I am finding my personal niche within the industry that I want to pursue as a career. My latest gig as a Brand Ambassador for Metropolitan Fashion Week has been my biggest push of confidence in my career path. The show's 5th Annual year, Founder and Director Eduardo Khawam has truly created a masterpiece event within the fashion industry. Showcasing haute couture gowns and formal wear created by designers all over the world, there is no limit to the creativity that has been put into this show. Not only were fashion fanatics from all over the world able to experience a fun night of couture, but MFW has committed to the cause of collecting 1 million school supplies for schools recently devastated by the natural disaste...

3 Ways to Rock an Oversized Button Down

ADD SIMPLE DETAIL  WITH YOUR FAVORITE PAIR OF RIPPED JEANS. THE SHIRT IS MID-THIGH LENGTH, SO TUCKING IN ONE SIDE IS ANOTHER SIMPLE FLARE TO ADD DETAIL AND SHOW OFF THE CONTRAST BETWEEN THE JEANS AND THE BOOTS. OBSESSED WITH MY  DISTRESSED HIGH-WAISTED SHORTS FROM  roxy.com  BECAUSE THEY ARE SO VERSATILE. SIMPLY TUCK IN THE FRONT OF THE SHIRT TO CREATE A POCKET-LIKE DETAIL. SO SIMPLE, YET SO EFFECTIVE. I WOULD WEAR THIS TO WORK AT ANGL AND THEN AT NIGHT TO THE CLUB. VERSATILE SIMPLICITY. ROCK IT ON ITS OWN! IT IS LONG ENOUGH TO BE A DRESS, SO WEAR IT JUST AS THAT! IT IS SO SIMPLE AND THE THIGH-HIGH BOOTS ADD ALL THE EDGE YOU NEED TO THIS OUTFIT.

Hey, Young People

I have never felt stronger about independence until I took a leap and United Airlines 2,360 miles and planted myself in Los Angeles, California from the small town of Boyertown, Pennsylvania. Do not get me wrong, I have always felt myself to be self-sufficient and independent: started working when I was 14 years old, relied on myself to carry my own burden of emotions as well as help others push through their own. However, independence took on an entirely new meaning for me when I learned to build a new life for myself, completely starting over. It’s amazing to me that I hear “I can’t believe you did that.. you’re so brave!... good for you... I could never do that”. I literally just think to myself: ‘well why not?’ I honestly believe that more people should do it. Yes, I am talking to the young souls who feel trapped in the circumstances that they find themselves simply because comfort and fear hinder them from reaching out. However, I see too many people unhappy in the predicament...
